Proposal Research Method
A proposal research method is a written document proposing an experiment, usually in the science or humanities, and typically constitutes a proposal for funding of that particular study. Proposals to research funding agencies are assessed on both the cost and feasibility of the proposal, and also on the validity of the proposal for taking it forward. There are many different proposal research methods, each with its own strengths and limitations. Some research proposals generate more interest than others, but all proposals are examined carefully before funds are released. A dissertation proposal must be prepared in a specific order, incorporating a detailed description of the steps leading up to the final analysis, as well as a detailed discussion of the data and analysis reported in the literature review. It must undergo several stages of review before it is submitted to the appropriate funding agency. A dissertation proposal must be written in a professional, research-style format, using appropriate English, including all necessary citations and references.
Agent supported proposal research is a somewhat simpler form of proposal research method, in that it involves conducting web-based studies over the internet, rather than through a university or other form of Institutional Research Organization (IRO). Agent supported proposals require little in terms of documentation, but the methodologies involved in the studies differ greatly from those involved in a dissertation. Both support and non-supportive research methods are necessary to complete this type of proposal. When researching a dissertation proposal, it is best to select the research method which best suits your needs and that fits the needs of your research group.
