    IC Digital Technology: New High Speed Access to High Volume Data

    IC Digital is a leading provider of optical fibre cables that are qualified for both single mode and multi-mode fibers, with a variety of flexibility for use in optical communication. It uses its own HDL (High-Bandwidth Digital Packet), which enables it to create the best possible optical communication. The IC Digital principal ICs uses a novel-based fiber channel technology called Fiber Channel Over Ethernet (FCO) to transmit light. This new fibre technology is capable of providing a higher bandwidth rate and greater signal clarity than any other method available in the market. The IC Digital principal ICs is also able to manage high-bandwidth multiplexing and circuit flow control.

    It has a proven track record in delivering cost-effective solutions for complex telecommunications systems. By leveraging on its experience and expertise, the IC Digital principal ICs provides a number of benefits to both designers and installers alike. The IC Digital architecture provides an easy solution to many problems, including scalability, system integration, reliability, and speed. Below, we have outlined some of the key benefits of IC Digital from the design engineer’s perspective.

    Designing Connections – One of the most critical IC Digital technologies involves designing individual links of optical fibre with tiny crystals, called photonics fibers. These tiny crystals are designed using a novel HDL application called “phased-array mating”. This technique ensures that the optical fibres form a complete path within the array, which improves the efficiency of the whole system. Once the entire path is completed, this improves the total system bandwidth by orders of magnitude. With these IP networks, designers need not worry about managing a multitude of redundant fibre connections.

    Cost Effective Solution – Another major IC Digital technologies benefit is its cost effectiveness, as it enables designing of low cost modules that can be used for large volume production. Since it can fit into a tight production schedule, it offers the best solution for rapidly prototyping and process development. It also allows for easy system integration, especially in the case of large volume production. Many leading system integration tools such as ICU-based and software packages are available to help system designers to implement these new systems. In addition to being cost effective, this IC Digital technology enables fast process development, as it provides fast implementation of digital logic processes in systems with high volume of inputs.

    Flexible Solutions – With the advent of modern photonics and networking technologies, new solutions for high speed data transfer have been developed. These include the concept of mixed signal circuits, which helps transfer a variety of signals between different devices in various systems, such as IC Digital and optical fibre interfaces. This enables complete system integration, which is necessary for highly complex system designs. Additionally, it improves the reliability of the entire communication system. In other words, by using mixed signal circuits, high volume data can be easily transmitted over a wide area.

    Enhanced Performance – The latest IC Digital systems provide greater performance than traditional photonics. They are able to transfer more data over a wider bandwidth. This leads to increased efficiency and improved system scalability. Furthermore, they are able to operate at higher clock speeds, and this feature increases system reliability. To top it all, they are also very energy efficient, thanks to the advanced and technologically proven silicon photonics.
